our property currently has 100x50mm joist and rafters which are positioned about 300mm apart and the existing insulation doesn't appear to be sufficient. We currently use our loft for storage and will still continue to do so, as loft boards are installed. Would it help if I insulate between the rafters as well with something like Airtec Double Insulation as it is thin? or is there another product that can be suggested!

All thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated

rigid board foam insulation, i.e. celotex, kingspan, would be more than man enough at 100mm thick. try and fit it as snug as possible.

I recently fitted kingspan for my 1901 house, easy to fit and already seeing a big difference witht he warmth of the top floor.
