hi

i have an outbuilding which has screeded floor. i would like to lay carpet for a games room. what should i insulate floor with apart from underlay.

thx in advance

for a simple fix for heat insulation i would go for the rolls of foam/polystyrene underlay used for laminate floors. Probably go for 2 layers at 90 deg.

i'd be tempted to put a dpm down unless you are sure there is no damp in the floor.
