Hi,

I have a concrete floor with some radiator pipes running underneath it (yes the floor gets warm in these areas when heating is on).
This area is our Kitchen & Dining area, the kitchen has carpet tiles down the dining area has carpet with underlay.

Can I lay aqualoc laminate flooring directly over the carpet tiles & carpet underlay as these are the same level, it would make the flooring quieter & more comfortable?
I appreciate you normally buy 'combi-lay' which is a couple of mm thick as a damp proof membrane & lay directly over the concrete floor.

Thanks in advance

It is not recommended to lay laminate on top of carpet tiles or carpet
