Can anyone advise me on how best to insulate a shed please. Currently I am doing the walls with 50mm celotex leaving a 25mm gap to outerwall. But the ceiling roof batons are only 40mm should I insulate this with some kind of foil? In one of the pics you will see a gap at the side of the shed where the roof meets the walls what do I do with this it's obvious build like that to give ventilation. Any help would be much appreciated.

The simplest thing would be to do a cold roof. Stick sheets of celotex underneath the rafters leaving a ventilated gap above them.

Those celotex sheets would then be sealed to the wall insulation to make it air tight and prevent the precious warm air leaking out.
