Insulating a suspended floor - how is best?

Hello

I'm looking to insulate my 1930's suspended floor. There is about 2feet underneath the floorboards.

I was thinking of getting some of this stuff:

Is it simply a case of pulling up the carpet and underlay and laying (or maybe spray adhesive) this to the boards?

Anyone suggestions or improvments welcome.

Great, so I've got to pull up the carpet and underlay, pull up shed loads of boards, lay this stuff, repair any split boards, nail them back down, relay the carpet underlay and carpet and being the furniture back in!

The next gas bill won't be so bad if I think of the effort I've saved!
