insulating bay window

S

Hi,
I have removed the old lath and blown plaster from underneath my bay window and there is nothing behind it apart from the fascia boards on the front of the house, before re-boarding it I was going to put some insulation in, I assume I just want normal rockwool (the stuff that comes in rolls ?) stuffed in there, but never had to do this before so any advice appreciated on what's best to use.
It's the first floor of a 30's bay fronted semi.

Cheers
Sam

Celotex or Kingspan or similar board will be twice as efficient as rockwool of similar thickness.

Then use a soundcheck (blue faced) plasterboard

cheers woody, i'll check that out, i take it thats foam type board that you cut to size put in between each stud then board over the top.

cheers
