Hi, I am currently decorating a house I am moving into and want to get as much work done as possible before we move in.

As I have a brick external and wooden frame internal the surveyor who was going to do the cavity wall insulation said it couldn't be done.

Is there anyway I can drill a hole in the plasterboard and fill the cavity between it and the wooden frame with an insulating material?

I dont want to remove the plaster board if possible as I have a huge amount of work to do already.

Thanks

Might be worth checking out these guys http://www.uktfa.com/ to see if they can advise and make sure you don't cause more problems than the one you are trying to solve.

We were told that our timber framed house could NOT have cavity wall insulation pumped into it.

I though this was a common rule for timber framed houses.
