It's and internal solid wood fire door into a half converted garage from kitchen. Let's in a fair bit of cold. Been looking at the self adhesive draught excluder strips, but not sure what part of the frame they would go on?

When looking at door from kitchen the gap round edge is v small, maybe 2mm.

Gap is much wider on reverse, but do the strips go on that edge where the catch is?

Will put a guard at bottom of door.

I’ve fitted this in the door from my den into the garage. You need to make sure that the door closing “crushes” the soft material sealing the gap

This worked a treat for me

Avoid foam insulation as it only works with a uniform gap . Book fold type seals work well and also secondary external seal trim .
