Insulation around cables

Hello

Had my house fully rewired a couple of years ago. The board is in the garage and there is a bedroom above the garage. Most the cables come out the board and through the garage ceiling/bedroom floor.

I want to insulate the garage ceiling/bedroom floor but I believe that cables surrounded by insulation have a lower capacity. Do I need to keep the insulation well away from the cables?
