Hi

Just a quick question i hope some of you may be able to help with.
I was hoping to add some insulation to a loft in the next few weeks.

I'm unsure if the insulation currently there contains asbestos.
The house was built around 1950 / 1960 and i assume the same insulation has been there since then. Its white and about 25 - 50mm thick.

It looks like it has glass fibre in it but is a lot coarser than what is sold now.

I would attach a pic but i don't have anywhere to put it to link to

Thanks for that Al.

Does anyone have any idea what sort of insulation it is? I guess its obvious to many of you but I don't know.
