Hello,

I am currently having a rear extension built and have had a warm flat roof installed. It is only now however that I have realised the wall insulation is supposed to carry on up to meet the base of the warm flat roof!!

What would be the best way to insulate this gap before plasterboard is added?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

celetex vertically up from the wall plate

It doesnt look like a warm roof though -the roof has been counterbattened, could be firrings. However the insulation should be above those for a true warm roof

im just wondering where the insulation and vapour barrier is going

hiya, yes those are the firrings. The isulation and vapour barrier is above the osb.

I will look to put celotex up from the wall plate. Would this need an additional vapour barrier or would it be fine just to celotex the gap.
