Now and again we sub contract for a building renovation company and I've noticed on many of their jobs they have put roof insulation (very much looks like it) under the bath before they panel it up. Question is....is there any benefit to doing that? I guess it keeps the noise down a bit while keeping the warmer??? It's just that I've recently fitted a new bathroom suite and i wonder if its worth doing the same on mine??

Must help to retain the heat in the bath water & maybe deaden the sound should you F**T

its for sound to stop the sound of your farts in the bath being heard downstairs. Very worthwhile doing!
