I was wondering whether using an insulation panel of some sort and a shower panel on top of that might be a good idea?

It's the wall at the side of the bath that I'm thinking of doing

If so are there any makes of insulation board or shower panel that would be best for this please?

Would I need to hack the plaster off first?

Thanks

Insulate if its an external wall, and tile or panel over. Chop out plaster if you need the space but that will be messy and you will likely have to move the bath to allow for the thickness of the battens, insulation, plasterboard and finished surface.

Blup

Thanks mate, how would I tile over insulation board?

Could I leave the insulation uncovered under the bath?

The cement boards work well, but it needs care when screwing near the edges, they are quite brittle there, but once tiled they are great.
