Advice from some of the other tilers on here:

A customer had work done by British Gas and basically ripped out loads of floor and wall tiles to do their work. They did not replace them telling the customer to get it done by a professional and submit a bill- Which they will then pay!

The problem I have is getting the money off the insurer/British Gas. The customer does not want to pay me directly saying I need to submit my bill to BG and they will pay for it. The problem I have is I have never had to do it and am weary of the customer not paying and their insurer refusing as well.

Any advice please?

Fair enough, but I have 3 open days next week. Better than no work I suppose.... Or will it be a few days work for free in the worst case scenario.

id prefer 3 days off rather than 3 days of graft with no pay and lots of chasing.
