Integral Fridge Freezer not working

I have an electrolux integral fridge freezer 50/50 (approx 8 years old). Once defrosted and then turned back on, there is a very quick build up of ice inside the fridge (within an hour or so) on the back at the top. Even when turned up full the thermometer reading inside the fridge is still only 15 degrees centegrade.

Is this a common problem which is fixable or is it time to buy a new appliance?
