hi guys
2 under-counter appliances next to each other (fridge and freezer). end of run to the left and inaccessable void to the right of them. would you say that the best way of connecting them would be to use flex outlets behind (no space for plug arrangement) and then up to a couple of FCU's

the only reason i ask is that a washing machine engineer came around to fix it and when i explained how the fridge and freezer were connected, he tutted and said that it was agood job that they werent his companies appliances. just wondered if i was missing something!

Usually white goods repair people want to be able to unplug applicances, its clear cut isolation, and they can drag the machine around if they need to, if you wire it into a FCU then its not as easy to unplug!

theres stacks of flex though. he could drag
it into the garden if he wanted to!
by the way , they are not connected straight into FCU's
they go into corded outlets because there is no room behind or to the sides of the appliances. and i dont think its good practice to leave trailing
sockets
