Kind regards Brian.

I've got no idea, would that not affect the DHW as well? ,everything was working OK last night until the water outage and not being a plumber not sure how ****e would get into the central heating side of things I could understand if it was the DHW side .

Not sure.

All I know is that on the odd occasion where we have pulled on say a soft copper main with the digger, leading to the house, we have had issues with limescale entering the system and blocking fine jets etc. We try and flush out, using an outside tap, these days.

You might want to post as well on the central heating and plumbing discussion board. I have asked for this thread to be moved as well.

I've checked the pressure which is 1.5 bar we a have theNeomitis heating control for the central heating and when prompted for central heating there's just a click but nothing happens even though according to the remote display it depicts a gas flame as thought the heating is on.

Hi all, we've got an Intergas HRE36/30 combi boiler and last night when we went to bed it became apparent we'd had a water outing Stafford and then was no water to taps or toilet cistern just a dribble. On getting up this morning water was back on but now our DCH doesn't work but the DHW does I've checked the pressure and it's 1.5 bar and there was a small amount of air in the bathroom towel rail and boiler which I've bled everything was OK until water outage any ideas please.
Kind regards Brian.
