how would i wire it. kitchen door back door, twin brown 3 core between , and door in between goes into dining room ,need switch ere if that makes sense.

Take a T&E to a switch position, then run a 3C&E to the next one, then on to the next, etc....

Put a two way at the switch with the T&E & 3C&E, and a two way switch at the switch position with one 3C&E. All others (IE those with 2x 3C&E) have an intermediate.

See Wiki as suggested for connection details.

Are there any books, that have this sort of wiring diagrams? Any of those things that you are supposed to know but forget when you have not done one for ages? Or in my case, a couple of months.
I religiously carry OSG, snags and a couple more with me. got memory like a sieve when it comes to remembering dry facts. If assessment was not open book, I would never ever pass the test.

This book is everything you need to understand dometic wiring with regards to your question provided you have a grounding in electrics. (Don't read the reviews they are not correct!)

I am a competent electrician, at least on paper that is.

My main trade is heating, but as I often, more often than not actually, find electrical problems, I decided to get my electricity papers. Was not hard as I had sound background in electronics. My downfall is bad memory combined with mostly limited work on electricity, hence the need for something to look up specifics on those things that are not that common.

Thanks for your help
