I've got a Hoover HTC 243 top-loading washing machine, probably about 6-8 years old.
A couple of weeks ago there was a small flood, which came at the end of the spin cycle. It was a normal wash, not overloaded. I checked the filter, which was clean.
I tentatively tried another wash and it's been OK since, until today. I've done several washes today, and again at the end of the most recent spin cycle, there's been some leaking, albeit not as bad as before.
The only common factor is that on both occasions, the machine has been in use for several hours, non-stop. Could this be causing the problem, and if so, why? Or can anyone think of what else might be causing the problem. Thanks for any suggestions.
