intermittent hot water at bath

Hi everyone
ive just recieved a call from my sister who says that "when she runs the bath the hot water is; hot then cold, then hot and so on". The only information she could give about her system is that its a ferroli combi boiler, type not known? any suggestions

Need to know more about boiler model, and what you think its doing , before a possible diagnosis is made .

Thanks for the reply Dave,

will get the relevant information off sister tomorrow. She said a local plumber (friend of a friend) called to her house and said that the temperature valve in the boiler needs replacing??. Should'nt she have the same problem if she ran the hot taps at basin and kitchen sink??

Yes if theres a problem with the boiler, but not if theres a problem with the bath taps.
