Intermittent SIME90 shutdown

Hi ,

I have a SIME 90 combi which I believe is about 3 years old.
Occasionally it just seems to cut out & the CH & DHW goes off.
The 'pilot light off' lindicator doesnt come on & there is no pressure drop. To remedy this I switch off & switch on again & the boiler fires up & runs ok. Any ideas / comments would be greatly appreciated ! cheers.

Just moved into new house equipped with a free standing combi boiler - think the model is 400 or 4000??

Having read some of the comments it seems that we are far from alone with our troubles. We too are experiencing the adhoc shut down problem - no pattern it seems to when it happens. But as for others, it is corrected by turning off and resetting.

We have been given the name of the person who originally installed it and he is supposedly ordering a part for us!
