Hi,
I have an Ariston Micro Combi 23/27 and yesterday it mid morning it seems to have got something stuck when firing which is resulting in it continually firing.
This means extremely hot rads (the thermistor and room thermostat are not being respected) until the boiler safety shutdown kicks in and leaves an amber light. I can only clear this light by switching the boiler off. If I turn a tap on then I get DHW and the CH switches off whilst tap is running.
Once boiler is switched on then the boiler may fire up again irrespective of if the room thermostat is requesting it or not, however, this isn't every time.
Is this something I can resolve myself with some pointers?
Many thanks
Nat
