Quick question. I have always thought the tap on the left (see photo) is the internal stop-cock and the tap on the right is just for our external water pipe (which is apprx the other side of the wall).
Both taps are usually set to 'open'.
Is this correct or is the one of the right to shut off water coming to the property and the one on the left to stop it being pumped around the house?
