Internal Bare Brick Walls

All,

Going to do a bit of work shortly on the above surface on a dwarf wall. Is Bonding Coat recommended prior to finishing or Hardwall?

Must admit I've seen the links on the gypsum site and it still hasn't sunk in-me being as thick as the plaster I guess :confused:

bonding is for non porous surfaces(walls that need PVA applied)
browning is for porous surfaces (brick,block,masonry etc..)
hardcoat is a tougher resilient alternative with slightly quicker drying times.
