I'm having a nightmare trying to cut internal mitres on Screwfix Sculptured Coving 117mm x 2m
using a Titan TTB710MSW 210mm Single-Bevel Compound Mitre Saw.

I found a Youtube video showing how to cut a piece of wood with a 45 degree mitre and at a height so that the coving is at the correct angle for cutting. The details on Screwfix state that the coving has a projection of 70mm but I measured to the underside of the coving which was 63mm and cut the wood block to this height. However, I cannot work out how to place the coving under the mitre saw to cut the correct internal mitre.

I found the following images:

If I want to install the coving as in the Screwfix images with the narrower detail near the ceiling and more spaced out detail near the wall, how do I place the coving in the mitre saw for cutting?
