I’m considering adding underfloor heating to my ground floor. Currently my internal doors are 1979mm high and 1965mm if I measure to the door stop.

If I raise the floor level (to have an extra 24mm) I’ll have 1955mm and 1941mm. Would you consider these to be ok or too low?

Thanks for your advice as always.

Hi, I screeded a floor and raised it by approx 40mm, I fitted a 78x33 (cut down by 40mm). I was a bit worried but it's fine in use and not noticeable, ( I'm 6' tall).

They’re OK, no worse than you might find in a Ye Oldie house from 200 years ago for instance. A tall future purchaser may be put off but probably wouldn’t notice. Stick a chunk of something on the floor of the appropriate thickness and walk through it to simulate your proposal, see if you feel it’s any different! You’re living there.
