Internal door hinge movement

Hi, I've installed an new internal door on the old hinge locations.

When the door closes, the hinges move (well, 2 out of 3 do) as if the door is pulling the hinge plate attached to the wall slightly. There is a slightly wood crunching sound. Any reason for this or how to fix it?

It's known as "hinge bound" several causes most common is the screws not fully dropping into the countersink on the hinge , so the heads of the screws are meeting, answer is screws with smaller heads or drilling the countersink deeper.
The new hinge may be thinner than the old one so fitting deeper in the recess.

To be honest hinge fitting is one job I hate no matter how carefully I measure and cut I have to take it off again and fiddle with it!
