Internal door quality

CORRECTION, the varnish was a Fortress water-based satin product; Screwfix’s cheapest varnish with Wickes’ cheapest door.

Have to say that's really carp, and agree the latest reviews also show a lot of problems. As I say, I bought 6 of these back in 1028 and they were absolutely fine. Looks like the quality has deteriorated

The product description says that you should only use waterbased paint... which you did.

I would push Wickes to offer recompense. I doubt they will though.

I am a decorticator. I have never had any problems painting veneered doors with either water based or oil based paints. I have no idea how much the customers paid for the doors though.

Best of luck.

1028? ;-)

whoops - 2018 - Sometimes my fingers work in the wrong order....

...Or, I could pretend to be the reincarnation of an Anglo-Saxon chippy

I see yours don't either..... "Decorticator" :ROFLMAO:
