Internal door trimming??

Hi,

Just bought 9 internal 4 panel moulded doors 1981 x 762 x 35.

It says on the packaging that you can plane a maximum of 6mm off the bottom and none off the top.

Problem is at least 3 of my doors will need about 11mm trimmed off the bottom.

Could anybody please tell me whether this will cause me any problems ie. door warping etc.

are these doors constucted from white board on each side with wooden battons inbetween!!!!!!

Yes, I'm afraid they are the cheap ones, but I paid so much for the door furniture and I'm replacing every door in the house so my budget wouldn't allow a better door.

They also say doors should be stored flat to acclimatise! Is this necessary??

wouldnt worry to much about acclimatising a few days unwrapped and flat [not at an angle]should do
