Internal Speaker Volume Levels

Good evening,

I’ve recently installed a Premier Elite 64-W system with a wired 16Ω internal speaker connected to the panel, along with a wired keypad.

I’m struggling to correctly configure the volume levels for when I full set the system.

Initially, the entry/exit tone was too loud via the internal speaker. I reduced the 'Advisory Volume' in Global Options, which solved that problem.

However, after lowering the 'Advisory Volume', I noticed that when the alarm activates, the internal speaker is too quiet to hear the alarm tone.

I then adjusted the 'Panel Volume' setting in Engineer Utils on the keypad, which fixed the alarm volume - but it also seems to override the 'Advisory Volume' setting as well, making my Entry/Exit extremely loud again.

What I’m trying to achieve:
  • Entry/Exit tones at a lower volume (e.g. volume 3 - or ideally only through the keypad)
  • Alarm activations at a high/max volume
Is there a way to separate these volume levels properly? If not, is there any workarounds I could try to achieve the above?

Thank you in advance.

Fit a pyronix twin alert ( speaker and internal sounder ) if you can’t get the correct balance of entry exit and alarm tones from the speaker ….i find the larger speakers too loud on a domestic system …post picture of the speaker you are using at the moment
