Internet wiring, is this correct.

We are with Talk Talk and the internet speed has always been pants, they say my max speed should be upto 11Mbs but the best i have ever seen is 4.6.
i have cat 5 from master box to router and then 2 pc's are connected via cat5, best speed on wifi is about 3.5, but what is getting my goat is we are getting less than half what we are paying for and before i call them does the wiring look correct to you? cos i know they will say we can send openreach round but if no fault it will cost me, pics attached of master front and back and box terminating at router, no filters used as i believe they are in the master which is a 5c Mk4, unfortunately i do not have a lead to check from front of bt box to router, incoming wires are connected = white to a and orange to b.

Not sure what service you are on. 11mbps is pretty pants this day in age, a quick search show some rural areas of Essex get even lower speeds.

Your contract should give you what speeds you should get at certain times of the day.

So what does your contract say you should get.

All the wires show two wires which looks like phone connections.

So I would start with checking your contract.

If your not getting your contracted speeds ask then why you aren’t getting them.

The wiring was done by whom?
