A third group not in the talks (the NECI) (National Electrical Contractors of Ireland) are in protest about NOT being in the talks.
Anyway to cut a long story short the electricians represented by TEEU (Technical Engineering and Electrical Union) are demanding an 11.3% pay hike which would see their hourly rate increase from 21.49 euro to 23.98 euro.
Employers are seeking a 10 percent paycut.
