I have had an issue with insufficient water pressure getting into the flat due pipework is 15mm and 1 mains feeding 3 flats. we are the top flat. Over the last 3 years the boiler has been touchy. If you add too much cold water with the hot, it just stopped heating the water altogether. The central heating has always worked. It has been bearable due the heating worked and most of the year it wasn't a big problem with the hot water. But recently it has got worse. The main flame is not igniting at all even when trying to heat the radiators or have hot water. It cuts out after trying for 5 secs (u hear clicking as it tries to ignite) then the red reset button lights. The water pressure isn't great but not worse than in previous times. So i think there is a secondary problem. However if I reset enough times, or fire it with central heating and then run hot water(which doesnt always work -also fails alot) every now and then the flame burns and we all cheer! I have an application in to get my own stopcock from the mains with Thames Water. But this could take time and I think the boiler does have a geniune ignition problem. Or is it really only pure water pressure?
