I have a garden irrigation system, consisting of water butts, 13mm supply pipe, 4mm mirco-pipe and mini sprinklers.
What are peoples thoughts about leaving them full of water over winter vs draining them? Are they likely to burst if the water in them freezes?
What about the water butts? Do they need to be drained? Or is putting a ball or something similar in them enough?
