is 10mm pipe ok for basin mixer

I'm fitting a basin mixer tap with 10mm tails,is it ok to have a 2 foot run of 10mm pipe to it from the 22mm supply pipe?

Depends on the pressure, will be a 33% reduction in what you were getting through 15mm
