Is adding timber ties to roof a big job?

Hi guys,
I want to strengthen the roof as theres some sagging. Its been said there should be additional timber ties and struts to the roof structure.
Is this a big job?

Yes if its a big roof

Is that is what is required? Ties are not to stop sagging
Have you got the places for struts to bear on. How are the purlins?
