Yes we agreed fees on an hourly rate for the Design stage and he estimated 4-5 days for this work at 9 hours a day. As it turns out he has charged at the top end of the 5 days and seems to believe this is reasonable/accurate/acceptable. Obviously, this is far from reasonable but its too late now.
I intend to pay to get the designs finished and applications in but lessons have defo been learned. Once we have permission in the bag I will use someone else for the regs stage.
I have been completely fleeced by this man.
