 Hi

I need to replace the radiator in the en-suite, which doesn't have a TRV fitted.

I've read in the customer info left with the boiler (from the previous owner)
that an "Automatic by-pass" is not required for the ALPHA CB28 Combi Boiler.

Just to be on the safe side, can anyone confirm that the CB28 is ok to have TRV's
fitted to all radiators and that the boiler is fitted with some sort of relief valve
in case of expansion (I hope I'm making sense).

Many thanks.

No, it is not ok to fit trv's to ALL rads. No trv in the room with the roomstat.

The MI's say that although the boiler has an inbuilt bypass,if it is fitted to a system with all TRV's then an auto bypass is recommended to be fitted.
I assume the room stat was not in the bathroom, but to comply with regs as said above.I won't say anything if you don't:cool:
