same in the north. never got owt, and if they have , they spend ages finding the right code to put into those efficient computer systems that was , in the first instance supposed to inform them if stock is low. ah
I asked hrpc if they had a T3 pump, got outrageous rabbit-
"we can't stock everything you know, there are lots of parts for lots of different makes, have you called Vaillant for a part number?"
I put the phone down.
Yes, very poor stock locally. Preston always have what I need for next day.
Local talk is that pts are going to start selling spares.
One of the problems is that our local nhs hospital pays its cleaners more than the man in charge at the local parts centre. Actually the nhs cleaning staff are paid more per hour than me most of the time.
I remember in the bad old days of ho.s and sho.s doing all the work for the consultants who played golf instead it was well accepted that a cleaner earned more per hour than a junior doctor. At 4 in the morning you would have faired better under the knife to the cleaners than to one of these tired out junior doctors who did your night time surgery for experience over and above the many hours already on their feet.
My advice is get your boiler fitted in the living room with an inspection pit, and chose one designed for ease of repair. And stay out of hospital at all cost.
