if you log onto hotmail then click on the profile button at the top sometimes above you notice a tip button above the ''whats new with *****" (the stars being my name). which says "add a photo" or "how to add one" (or something similar) sometimes it appears sometimes it does not it is not a email or anything however i just want to check it is normal and legitimate

please ask if i need to go into more detail.

That is just telling you want the next window will be that opens.
It is normal but does not happen often with my Live mail either.
