i have storage heaters in my house.
i know they run from 12-7 during the night, but i wondered if you could add a timer to these so they come on from 3-7?

Storage heaters require 7 hours charging at night to work properly if they dont get 7 hours they dont stay hot all day. You can add timmers but the heaters wont stay warm for long due to them being on for only 4 hours

You would most likely need a timer that dont loose time when the power is off, unless you can provide a 24 hour supply to the clock.

You could also use a small din rail mounted, delay on contactor for each heater.
When the power cuts in say at midnight , the contactor would delay it coming on for the time as adjusted ie 3 hours.
