Storage heater timer mayhem

Timers are the property of you electricity supplier and as such should not be tampered with ;)

The meters are just outside the flat, they are in a cupboard that only the electricity board seem to be allowed to access.

I think you've answered your own question already.

The electricity co provides you with cheaper electricity at off peak times (when the power stations are taking it easy). The time switch comes on at those times so you get cheaper heat into the storage radiator. The heater releases the heat during the day -its a pity that you are probably not there to enjoy it :(

If you interfere with the time clock (it is sealed) you'll be defrauding the electricity company and they dont like you doing that.
