Cut 1.5 inch off a ceramic tile that's already been stuck to the wall? If so what's the best way/tools to do it?

You may be able to slice through the tile using an angle grinder;

fitted with a diamond tile cutting disc;

then break away the bit you don’t want but there is a risk it will break.

yep sure can, as rich describes.

be careful though as tiles are already on wall, nice steady hand

using a tile scribber and a straight edge,scribe across/up the tile..3/4 times,then put masking tape both sides of the line,then angle grinder.

hope the tile aint dot/dab on...
