Is leyland satinwood any good?

I'm in the process of decorating my living room atm and need to paint all the skirting and frames. Is leyland satinwood any good? Does it yellow quickly being oil based as the room I'm decorating doesn't get much natural light. I would of ideally liked to use a water based product but i have read it's a nightmare to apply especially if you have little experience

Sorry you mentioned leyland I use Johnstone’s satinwood. Apologies.
