Is older loft roll insulation likely to be flamable?

Before my daughter drops her bedroom ceilings she will need to shift the loft insulation. It’s the old itchy yellow stuff.

I’m wondering weather she would be better off bagging and binning it then putting fresh back in when the jobs done?

Pretty sure the stuff is very stable even when old and dry, rip a bit off and try and light it
