Is phobia about terrorism irrational or rational?

Two attempts at ducking the question (Ref: Himaginn, Today at 12:48 PM for added irony). You must be a politician or at the very best a politics student at the local municipal college.

To keep things simple, I'll ask the question again, in exactly the same way with no added context or pre-judging what your answer might be

What do you hope to achieve by publicising who is on your ignore list?

Nozzle
Sorry Nozzle you've completely perplexed me. If I have no-one on my ignore list, how could I publicise who that no-one is?
Furthermore, your link refers to this:
You're still ducking the question.
"Making a 'joke' at other people's expense to point score isn't a 'joke'."
So the "nuke 'em" comment wasn't a joke?"

The two seem totally unconnected to me.
How can I duck a question about who is on my ignore list, if there is no-one?
If I can't publicise a nothing, there is no possibility of gaining anything.

Back to the two part questions where the first part is predicated on the positivity of the second part.
The second part is not a positive, therefore the first part is not valid.

You post that starts with the sentence
"It's like this, when...."

I think you've lost the plot.
It was an example of what happens when you are ignoring someone (for real, rather than just saying you are) compared to when you are not really ignoring someone.
When you are ignoring another poster, you can't see their comments or the threads started by that poster.
So when a couple of people state that they have put me on ignore, then respond to my comments or on threads that I have started, it demonstrates that they do not have me on ignore at all, but were just saying so, for some inexplicable reason.
Well, I did actually try to explain it a few posts ago.

here:
Right, all good stuff. What do you hope to achieve by publicising who is on your ignore list?

Nozzle
I think I may have sussed it out.
We all know, bar a couple of us, what the "ignore" function does. It prevents us from seeing the posts, and the threads started by, the "ignored" poster(s).

Some put a different semantic value to the "ignore" function, than the rest of us. They think that the "ignored" poster(s) can't see their comments, and therefore can't criticise them, or is dissuaded from doing so.

Perhaps, they should make a video, something called I'm not a racist. I'm a ignor-realist, or some such thing.
Maybe the suffix "amus" might be more appropriate.

BTW, it might help if you indicate who you are responding to. As your comments are appearing about once per page, and there are multiple others' posts between your comments, it's difficult to know who, or what you are referring to.

The worst bit for me is the mum and two kids ......the mum warns that woman about the pickpocket and then he hits her and spits on her, pathetic piece of 5h1t

The gang rape scene was disturbing also. It wasn't just a "gang" but more like a "horde".
Absolute scum.

Sexual assault on Woman ?

Eygpt is high on the list ? ;)
Isn't that why a lot of their women have to wear burkas, as the men, not all of them ofcourse but generally have great difficulty controlling their lust and the women has to suffer the indignity of wearing it?

I'll take that. Thanks for the feedback - I don't want to get into recursive quotes as seems to be the done thing (though against forum rules). I think instead I'll use @usernameabcd in future
