Renovating bathroom.
Going to do all around the bath and basin with tile backer board, tank and tile.

The wall next to the loo is going to be painted instead. As this is unlikely to get wet, and the room will have bath only, not a shower, so only occasional bath use, could I use standard plasterboard? Or is the green moisture stuff still advisable?

I recently re-did an ensuite shower room and used the 'proper' stuff. I was daft- the plain old plasterboard of 25 years vintage was absolutely fine. Can't believe I talked myself into it really. Going to do another soon, will just replace the plasterboard where it's wrecked after the tiles come off.

dont use any kind of plasterboard in wet areas.
