that'll be your screws. What size are you using, and how big is the hole you are putting them in?

I see you've fitted it at the top of the gate so an intruder can reach over and open it. Do you want the gate to give any security?

The stop needs to be aligned so the Gate is stopped by the frame and not the catch, as the impact is probably what’s loosening the Arm.
