Hi ll
I have three 15m2 rooms to nail down 20mm thick victorian Floor boards. All boards have come up during the refurb. The problem is that my neighbours have the original lath and plaster ceilings and the joists do move, so I'm worried that I'll cause danage by manually nailing all these fixings back down.
So, I reckon two options - nail gun or screwing. I fancy the former due to the lack of manual input / speed, but so far I can't find a hire shop that does a gun that would do 60mm brads stright down. All seem to do 45 deg for T&G boards.
Is there such a thing or am I going to have to get the knee pads out and the drill? Any links etc appreciated, and I'm prepared to buy one if I can't hire.
Cheers in anticipation.
