Is there any way to fix my bathroom window

Hi all my bathroom window no longer opens and closes properly due to the slider breaking.

The one with the circle is the broken one, other one is working fine, anyone know if its possible to repair ? thanks

They look riveted on, so you'll need to drill the rivets out.

Thanks a lot , I have no idea what riverts are but going to Google them.

When I'm putting the window back should I use rivets or just normal screws (i have no idea what is best practice this is my first time )

Drill out the rivets and replace with the same size (you will need a rivet gun)

This will be easier with two people one up a ladder holding the window and the other drilling/riveting
